GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - More than 69,000 people in Wisconsin are impacted by a TransUnion data breach.
The company reports that social security numbers and dates of birth were accessed.
TransUnion is one of the nation’s big three credit bureaus.
In a filing with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, TransUnion reports the data breach happened on July 28.
This affects more than four million people, including more than 69,000 in Wisconsin.
