DUBUQUE, Iowa — A Dubuque man has been arrested in connection to a 23-year-old homicide case in Colorado.

Robert McClain, 55, was taken into custody by Dubuque Police on Monday following a warrant issued from Adams County, Colorado. Authorities have linked McClain to the 2003 killing of Rosa Arguello.

The arrest was made possible through the collaboration between Dubuque and Thornton Police Departments.

Arrangements are underway to extradite McClain back to Colorado where he will face charges.
