[KWWL] — Iowa's "DOGE" Task Force is set to submit its recommendations after holding its final meeting today.

Gov. Kim Reynolds established the task force in February to realign the state's government. The focus is on maximizing the return on taxpayer investment, refining workforce and job training programs, and utilizing artificial intelligence technology.

The task force held four meetings and plans to submit its recommendations to the governor by September 29.
