KELLY Clarkson's kids have been leaning on each other while mourning the death of their father, Reba McEntire revealed in a sad update.

The country singer, who is the former stepmother of Kelly 's ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, shared how the family is coping since his death in an interview on Sunday.

Reba walked the red carpet at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards with her fiancé, Rex Linn , where she provided the update.

"The kids are doing well, they’re all bonding together and hanging out with each other, and taking it one day at a time," the Survivor singer told Entertainment Tonight .

"We miss him. We miss him every minute," Reba added.

Brandon is the father of Kelly's two kids: an 11-year-old daughter, River Rose, and a 9-year-old son, Remington Alexander.
