PAINESVILLE, Ohio (WOIO) - A vigil for slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk will take place Friday at the Painesville Assembly of God Church on Johnnycake Ridge Road to mourn the loss of the Turning Point USA founder and celebrate his life.
The vigil is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the vigil begins at 7:00 p.m.
Kirk was tragically shot and killed on Wednesday while he was holding an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
22-year-old Tyler Robinson was arrested days later for the shooting.
Painesville Assembly of God Church is located at 10949 Johnnycake Ridge Road.
