BUFFALO, N.Y. — Fire crews responded to a house fire on the East side of Buffalo Monday afternoon.
According to fire officials, crews from the Buffalo Fire Department responded to calls of a structure fire at 116 Fisher Street around 2:25 p.m. on Monday. Crews reported that the fire was in the attic of the house.

Buffalo Fire reports that the building suffered an estimated $150,000 in damages to the building, and an additional $135,000 to contents in the building, totaling an estimated $285,000 in damage.
The Red Cross is assisting one adult who was in the home when the fire broke out.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
