Negotiations are underway for plea deals with teens charged in the Reno High School vandalism case.
Prosecutors Michael Bolenbaker and Amos Stege of the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office told the Reno Gazette Journal after a Monday hearing that negotiations are ongoing and going well.
The Washoe County School District Police identified 27 suspects in the May 22 vandalism at Reno High School. Nineteen were 18 years old and face gross misdemeanor or trespassing charges. Eight are juveniles, and their names and charges have not been released.
