ROSEBURG, Ore. - Tragedy struck at Shady Point RV Park, just south of Roseburg, where three individuals were found dead and one in medical distress from a suspected drug overdose.

According to the Roseburg Police Department, officers and deputies discovered the scene on Sunday, September 14th, 2025, while following up on an unrelated investigation.

Detectives believe the individuals used fentanyl and methamphetamine, finding drug-related paraphernalia and substances at the scene. Evidence suggests they recently traveled north of Douglas County, possibly out of state, to purchase the drugs.

The deceased include a 46-year-old man, a 55-year-old woman, and a 41-year-old man. A 55-year-old woman was transported to Mercy Medical Center.
