CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State football is heading into one of the biggest games of the season, traveling to Autzen Stadium to face rival Oregon. After a challenging start to the season, the Beavers are focused on staying competitive against a top-ten Ducks team loaded with talent.
"It's a big game because you're playing a team in the top 10,” said head coach Trent Bray Monday. “That resonates with every player.”
The Oregon-Oregon State matchup is one of the oldest rivalries in college football, dating all the way back to 1894. But the game looks very different today than it did even a few years ago.
Conference realignment, NIL deals, and the transfer portal have reshaped the landscape of college football, and both programs find themselves in vastly different places.
