LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Joe Lombardo announced Monday that he will seek re-election as governor of Nevada.

“You sent me [to Carson City] to deliver results, restore balance to our political system, find consensus and solve real problems for everyday Nevadans,” Lombardo said at a Monday news conference. “That’s what you hired us to do and that’s exactly what we’ve done.”

Lombardo defeated Steve Sisolak to become the 31st governor of Nevada in the November 2022 election, winning by about 15,000 votes. He was sworn into office in January 2023.
