Winning TAKE 5 tickets worth nearly $18K each sold in Bronx and Elmont

New York, NY – Two lucky New York Lottery players hit the top prize in Thursday night’s TAKE 5 evening drawing, with each ticket worth $17,894.50.

The winning tickets were sold at two separate locations: Universal Candy & Grocery, 1521 Westchester Avenue in the Bronx, and GNP Priyal, 201 Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont.

TAKE 5 drawings are held twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with players selecting numbers from 1 through 39. Winning tickets can be claimed for up to one year from the date of the drawing.

The New York Lottery remains North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.6 billion during the current fiscal year to support public schools across New York State.
