A coastal storm lingering near North Carolina is expected to bring several batches of rain along with gusty winds and potential flooding in coastal areas of New Jersey this week.

Forecasters from the National Weather Service say rain will be widespread across the Garden State but likely the heaviest along the southern Jersey Shore, inland sections of southeastern New Jersey and areas along the Interstate 95 corridor.
