Police looking for owners of dog hit by car in Sturbridge

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A dog was hit by a car on the highway Monday afternoon and Sturbridge police need your help locating their owner.

State police say they found an injured pitbull who they believe was hit by a car around 2:30 Monday afternoon on I-84 without any identification.

The dog was taken to the hospital for treatment but anyone with information regarding who owns this pup are asked to call either state or Sturbridge police.
