COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man was found guilty of murder in a shooting in west Columbus that left a 33-year-old man dead more than two and a half years ago, according to Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney Shayla Favor.

Favor's office said 45-year-old Ron Robinson was found guilty of murder, aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, attempted murder, felonious assault and having a weapon under disability.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 29.

On Jan. 6, 2023, Columbus Division of Police officers were sent to the 3600 block of West Horizons Drive to investigate an unknown complaint. Before they arrived, they were informed that a shooting had just taken place there.
