COLUMBUS, Ohio — It’s been more than a year since the City of Columbus revealed it had suffered a cybersecurity breach , yet key questions remain unanswered and a promised report has yet to be made public.
Mayor Andrew Ginther, who first addressed the attack last fall, had said at the time that a report explaining how the breach occurred would be available by early 2025.
“Our hope is later this year, beginning of next year. These things take time,” Ginther said in fall 2024.
However, that timeline has passed without the report’s release.
