BESSEMER, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A 45-year-old inmate at the Donaldson Correctional Facility was stabbed on Friday, Sept. 12, resulting in his death early Saturday, Sept. 13.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner, Antwion Webb sustained a sharp force injury during a reported assault.

Webb’s death is being investigated as a homicide by the Alabama Department of Corrections Law Enforcement Services.
