FRISCO, Texas — If you thought the Dallas Cowboys ' defense needed some help against the New York Giants on Sunday , you're not alone.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and the front office did, too. Enter: Jadeveon Clowney.

The 12-year NFL veteran officially signed with the Cowboys on Monday, after spending the offseason as a free agent.

"Been at home on the couch, man. You be ready to get up off it," Clowney said, while speaking with reporters at The Star in Frisco. "That locker room will make you feel a lot younger than you is."

The 32-year-old has not been named to the Pro Bowl since 2018, but the longtime pass rusher said he has "a lot" left in the tank.

"Anytime we can add good football players, you wanna do it. This guy's a good football player," said Cowboys head coach Brian Sch
