PERRYSBURG, Ohio — With deer hunting season less than two weeks away, some Ohio hunters are turning to high-tech help when the trail runs cold.

Lost and Found Drone Service, based in Perrysburg, is using aerial drones equipped with thermal cameras to locate deer that hunters can’t find on their own.

“We usually get a call after a hunter has exhausted looking for a deer that they couldn’t find,” said Richard Greulich, the company’s head pilot.

Greulich launched the business last year but has been flying drones for a decade. He says thermal searches are becoming increasingly popular during hunting season.
