CURRITUCK COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — Currituck County Middle School administration received a report Monday afternoon involving a student referencing a threat, but the school division said there was "no immediate threat to the safety" of the school community.
"While a student made inappropriate comments, we want to assure our families that there was no immediate threat to the safety of our school community," Currituck County Schools said in a statement. "Disciplinary action is being taken in accordance with district policies and procedures."
