And if you grew up in that era, you probably remember the pull of the horror section — where VHS box art could haunt your imagination long before you ever saw the movie itself.
It’s a near-universal experience for a certain generation. And now, it’s one you can re-live in downtown Akron at Killer Video — a half-museum, half-art installation that recreates the magic of the video rental era.
