TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The city of Tucson is trying to provide a safe place for the unhoused to sleep , but not everyone is excited about the initiative.

STAR Village will be located near Grant Road and Stone, and it’s set to be open for at least a year starting next month.

Neighbors and business owners gathered at Brother John’s Beer, Bourbon & BBQ on Stone for a news conference to express their concerns and frustrations. Many chanted “Stop STAR Village” and held up signs to voice their dismay.
