PHOENIX — It’s Money Saving Monday at 12News, a day dedicated to saving more and spending less.

While we’re more than halfway through 2025, it’s a great time to check in on your finances and make sure you are still on track to hit your goals.

But according to a new survey, not everyone is on the right path.

While 90% of Americans set financial goals for 2025, 45% are either off track or uncertain about their progress midway through the year, according to a recent NerdWallet survey.

12News spoke with a couple of people who are managing their finances the right way, plus got some tips from a financial expert on how you can do so effectively for the remainder of the year.
