US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has vowed to cancel the visas of people celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk last week.

Speaking from Israel following talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Mr Rubio told reporters that foreigners in the United States that celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk were not welcome.

“We don’t want you in the country, why would we want to give a visa to someone who thinks it’s good that someone was murdered in the public square?” he said.

“It just commonsense to me.”

Asked if any actions had been taken regarding visa cancellations of people celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death, Mr Rubio said a number of visas have been cancelled for people awaiting entry to the United States.
