An overturned tractor-trailer carrying lumber shut down the northbound lanes on Interstate 81 on Monday evening, PennDOT said.

The crash happened around 9 p.m. at mile marker 57 in Silver Spring Township when a flatbed truck carrying lumber overturned into a median, according to PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler.

Schreffler said all northbound lanes will be closed for crews to remove the truck and lumber from the road.

Cameras at the scene show an overturned tractor-trailer in between the north and southbound lanes. Numerous flashing emergency lights and other vehicles are seen sitting in the northbound lanes.

Pennsylvania State Police and Silver Spring Community Fire reported to the scene, according to Cumberland County dispatch.

Reported injuries are unclear.
