FORT ANN, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Less than a mile from the site of the Battle of Fort Ann, you’ll find a gathering place for the community. Surrounded by history, Battle Hill Brewing Company was started in 2015.

On tap they have eight different types of beer. Each glass is made using local ingredients. From the pretzel bites to their fan-favorite burgers, their sauces, bread, and other food items are made from scratch.

At the brewery, they say you never know who will walk through the doors. In August, John Schneider, known best for his role as Bo Duke from The Dukes of Hazzard, stopped by the brewery to grab a bite to eat.

Battle Hill Brewing Company is located at 4 Charles Street in Fort Ann. It is open 11:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and 11:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sunday.
