The league stage of the 2025-26 UEFA Champions league gets underway on Tuesday, Sept. 16 with six matches taking place across Europe.
Some of the top games include Arsenal visiting Athletic Bilbao, Juventus hosting Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham facing Villareal and 15-time champion Real Madrid beginning its campaign against Marseille.
"Marseille is a big Ligue 1 team," Madrid's French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni told reporters. "I don't know if all Spaniards know them but they are a very followed team in France."
The first matchweek continues Wednesday and Thursday, the only three-day week on this year's Champions League calendar with no other UEFA tournaments in action.
Paris Saint-Germain is the defending champion and plays its opener on Wednesday against Italian side Atalanta.
