Mt. Juliet police are getting a new headquarters with 52,000 square feet of building space on campus.

Mt. Juliet police are getting ready to move into a new building, which creates a bit of musical chairs and expansion opportunities.

It also involves the city's senior center and a prominent church.

The new Mt. Juliet police headquarters on Charlie Daniels Parkway is essentially in front of the existing station.

That soon-to-be former police headquarters will become a new and bigger space for the Mt. Juliet Senior Activity Center, which will move from 2034 North Mt. Juliet Road, officials have said.
