DANVILLE — Mareyon Edwards, 21, formerly of Danville was sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to a pair of felonies on Tuesday.
Edwards, was sentenced to six years for Unlawful Possession of Weapon – machine gun, a class 2 felony. This will be served consecutively to a term of 2 years for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, a class 4 felony. Edwards will also serve one year of mandatory supervised release following his eight years with the Illinois Department of Corrections.
