Police arrested two juveniles and recovered two loaded handguns after questioning a group of people gathered in the courtyard of a Dorchester housing development Sunday, officials said.
The arrests took place around 6:50 p.m. Sunday in the Franklin Field housing development , a Boston Housing Authority property, police wrote on social media.
“On directed patrol in the area due to recent gun violence, officers observed a group of six to eight individuals gathered abnormally in the courtyard along Westview Way,” police said. “Several members of the group wore multiple layers of clothing and face coverings, drawing officers’ attention.”
