Crisis-hit Birmingham Council is planning the sale of a McDonald’s as it plans to dispose of more properties.

Numerous properties and land have been sold since the start of last year amid the Labour -run authority’s financial crisis.

One notable example is the Bordesley Green ‘Wheels’ site, where a new stadium for Birmingham City FC has been proposed as part of the massive Sports Quarter regeneration project.

But a huge array of other assets have also been sold through negotiations or auctions , raising millions and millions of pounds for the council as it looks to recover from recent turmoil.
