CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) -- Ludacris pumped up the crowd Saturday morning at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The school announced his appearance in September.
The free concert was in front of the Wilson Library on campus.
It's part of the university's Chapel Thrill GameDay Concert Series that started last year ahead of home football games. The Rams Club is the series sponsor, according to UNC.
Ludacris, sporting a Julius Peppers jersey, hit the stage at 10:00 a.m. After dropping a few bars, he told the Chapel Thrill crowd they were now part of his history as the earliest show that he's done in his entire life.
