INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Indiana Gov. Mike Braun has announced the launch of Power Up Indiana, a new initiative aimed at incentivizing employers to invest in their workforce by training and promoting current employees.
"Power Up Indiana targets incentives to established Hoosier businesses and workers," said Braun. "We are growing employees’ paychecks while strengthening Indiana companies."
The initiative focuses on employer-led solutions to develop internal talent pipelines, encouraging businesses to provide training that equips employees with skills for high-value, high-paying jobs.
"This is how we reward leadership, raise wages, and make Indiana more competitive—one worker at a time," said Indiana Secretary of Commerce David Adams.
