This twelve-week-old pup was patiently waiting for his forever home in a shelter, and while doing so, he made it his mission to melt hearts by flashing every visitor a quirky, toothy grin. And it worked.

Burreaux’s journey began when he and his two siblings were transferred from Caddo Animal Control to the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana (HSNWLA) .

Courtney Wingate, the director of HSNWLA, was immediately smitten when she spotted the puppy smiling at her. That moment changed his life.

Wingate decided to take Burreaux and his siblings in to provide them with love
