When I started C&L, I wasn't thinking about any long-term goal. I was hurt, had to quit a Hall of Fame rock and roll band, but wanted to voice my opinion about the horrible Iraq war that Bush ushered in without much media push back, except for Phil Donahue and Bill Moyers.

Advertising dollars have dwindled since President Biden took office, fueled by the rise and reach of Zuckerberg, Musk, Bezos, and others. This has allowed right-wing influencers like Ben Shapiro to thrive while jailing progressive and honest opinions like C&L's.
