According to the PG&E electrical outage page , an unplanned outage near Vandenberg Village has led to a blackout in the area affecting more than 3,100 customers.

PG&E says that an outage team is evaluating the system to identify the damaged sections and make necessary repairs to safety turn the power back on.

The page lists an estimated restoration time of 11 a.m.

A message from the Lompoc Unified School District notes that the outage is impacting Cabrillo High School, Maple High School and Buena Vista Elementary School.

LUSD said that classes will continue as scheduled, with adequate lighting and non-technology lessons. Phones and internet are down. Parents and guardians are asked to visit the campuses front office if needed.
