SANDUSKY, Ohio — Robert Bores, the Erie County man accused of , has decided to accept a plea deal with prosecutors.
According to court records, Bores agreed to plead guilty to two counts of felony domestic violence. A third domestic violence charge and three counts of child endangerment were dropped.
The 35-year-old Berlin Heights man faces a maximum sentence of six years in prison and a $20,000 fine.
Bores is scheduled to appear in Erie County Common Pleas Court for sentencing on Dec. 11.
CASE DETAILS
"The whole thing is just terrible," Erie County Sheriff Paul Sigsworth told 3News back in March of 2024 when Bores was arrested for using a cattle prod on the children.
Officials say the investigation began after one of the children told someone at school what had happened.
