WHITESTOWN, Indiana — Two suspects were taken into custody after reported car break-ins in Whitestown early Tuesday.
Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department officers were called around 4 a.m. Sept. 16 to the Bridle Oaks subdivision, near South Main and East Pierce streets, for reports of vehicle break-ins.
Officers "quickly apprehended one suspect," the department said, and a second suspect was taken into custody around 8:15 a.m.
"There is no ongoing threat to public safety. Both suspects have been apprehended, and the situation is under control," the department said in a social media post.
