For nurses, humor is essential in keeping sane during the most trying times. Comedian and nurse Blake Lynch understands this implicitly.

“Nurses are some of the funniest people alive,” Lynch said. “We’re raunchy, dark, and wildly inappropriate. If you don’t laugh during a 12-hour shift, you’ll cry.”

On September 23, Lynch — better known as Nurse Blake — will bring his “But Did You Die?” tour to The Keswick Theatre in Glenside for one night only.

Lynch’s journey from the hospital floor to the comedy stage is as unconventional as his punchlines.
