OSCODA – The Oscoda soccer team wasn’t able to slow down visiting McBain Northern Michigan Christian on Monday, Sept. 8. The Owls did find some offense of its own, but it wasn’t enough in what was a 7-3 Northern Michigan Soccer League loss.

The Owls had goals from Isaac Olvera, Alex Clarke and Reed Curley.

On Thursday, Sept. 11, Oscoda lost a road NMSL at second place Burt Lake Northern Michigan Christian Academy, 9-1.

Burt Lake had Lee Chatfield score four goals and Noah Chatfield netted two goals. Tyler Vest, Jeremiah Tucker and Josh Ferraiuolo all had one goal each.

Landon Lueckman netted the Owls’ only goal.

The Owls also played at a tournament at Ogemaw Heights on Saturday. They lost their games there, 8-0 to host Ogemaw, 8-0 to Saginaw Heritage and they also fell short, 6-0 to B
