LITTLE FLOCK, Ark. — Pediatrics Plus is expanding its nature-based therapy model to Northwest Arkansas.
The organization hosted a grand opening ceremony Monday for its newest farm campus in Little Flock, just outside of Rogers.
The farm is designed to combine traditional therapies with the outdoors. On the new campus, children can receive occupational, physical and speech-language therapy, as well as applied behavior analysis, in an environment that feels more like play than a clinic.
Children will have opportunities to feed animals, plant gardens, and explore sensory-friendly outdoor spaces. The farm also incorporates everyday life skills — like cooking and doing laundry — into therapy activities.
