MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the two people who died after a crash during a test drive on Friday.

The agency stated Tuesday that Suzanna Hayes and Daniel Fay both died from the injuries they suffered in the Town of Burke crash on Friday, Sept. 12.

Hayes, 64, was from Poplar Grove, Illinois. Fay, 65, was from McFarland.

The Medical Examiner’s Office stated both individuals died at a local hospital Friday, and forensic examinations were conducted Saturday.

More testing is underway.

A new vehicle from a local car dealership out for a test drive around 3:25 p.m. Friday struck a 53-year-old woman’s vehicle as she was driving west on the 5400 block of Commercial Avenue and turning left into a parking lot, Madison Police Department said.
