MADISON (WKOW) -- The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the two people who died in a crash while they were out test driving a new vehicle.

They are Suzanne Hayes, 64, of Poplar Grove, IL and Daniel Fay, 65, of McFarland.

Preliminary results of the examinations confirm both of them died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The crash happened on Commercial Avenue on September 12. Police said an SUV attempted to turn into a parking lot and was hit by the vehicle that was out on the test drive.

The Madison Police Department is investigating the crash.
