DARLINGTON, S.C. (WBTW) -- Rembert Cook, a science teacher at Mayo High School for Math, Science and Technology in Darlington, is our latest Crystal Apple nominee.

"As a teacher, sometimes we don't see the results of what we do. Being here is a blessing, but sometimes you don't know. 'Are these students going out and are they able to do the things that I've prepared them to do?' But gosh, in the classroom, when you see that light go off (it's) the best feeling in the world."
