HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) - Vanderburgh County's Electronics Recycling Day is fast approaching, so the Vanderburgh County Solid Waste Management District wants to get the word out.

Officials state this will give households the chance to bring unwanted electronics to be recycled.

The event will take place on October 4 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Civic Center parking lot.

Items that will be accepted include: • TVs • Computers • Monitors • Printers • Hard drives • Laptops • Fax/scanners • Cell phones • DVD players • Digital cameras • Modems • Cables/cords
