ANN ARBOR, MI - The University of Michigan will host its first-ever Swim Across America – Michigan Pool Swim on Sunday, Sept. 28, inviting swimmers and volunteers of all ages and skill levels to dive in for a cause.
Set at the Donald B. Canham Natatorium in Ann Arbor, the event serves as a celebratory finale to the Detroit River open water swim held earlier this summer, with all proceeds supporting cancer research at the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center.
“This is more than just a swim — it’s a chance to come together as a community to support the fight against cancer,” said Erin Christensen, Swim Across America – Michigan event director, who also works at the Rogel Cancer Center. “Every lap, every relay, and every dollar raised brings us closer to lifesaving breakthroughs.”
