The players and coaches of the Mt. Hope High School girls' tennis team are in 2025 continuing the enviable task of attempting to rebuild the program while competing in the state's top level, Division I.
To date, the Huskies have struggled at times, but have also shown some grit and a good attitude in their approach to the season ahead.
"I would say that we're definitely looking at just trying to build from last year and just trying to every match come out and be competitive, try to take the court like it's a new day every day," said second-year MHHS head coach Nolan Ross. He's assisted, as he was in the latter part of 2024, by Sara Sousa.
"Tennis is one of the most frustrating sports, I will say," Ross continued. "And you have to be strong mentally, you have to be strong p
