LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help locating a man last seen Monday morning.

Angelito Demateo, 70, was last seen around 8:45 a.m. on Sept. 15 near the 4100 block of South Decatur Boulevard, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Demateo is described as 5’6” tall and weighing about 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans.

Authorities are urging hospitals to check their registries for Demateo and notify police if he is located, noting that HIPAA allows disclosure to law enforcement
