FRANKENLUST TWP., MI — Delta College students and staff will soon be able to ride Saginaw Transit Authority Regional Services (STARS) buses for free under a new partnership announced by both organizations.

Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 1, individuals with a valid Delta College ID can ride any STARS fixed-route bus at no cost by showing their ID when boarding.

“Reliable, affordable transportation is key to educational opportunity,” Amy Bidwell, executive director of STARS, said in a statement. “We are proud to be partnering with Delta College to make it easier for students and staff to get to class, to work, and to the resources they need across Saginaw.”
