Sean McVay wanted a timeout during the win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. During which he pulled up awkwardly on the sideline afterwards. Reports have indicated that he tore his plantar fascia.
McVay revealed the foot injury on his show, produced by the Rams titled "Coach McVay Show."
"Foot's good," said McVay. "I did tear my plantar fascia, so yeah. Well, that's a good thing, because I guess it allows you to heal a little faster. But I was being dramatic, limping around towards the end of the game, but the MRI confirmed I did that."
"Good news is I'm not playing. I'm just on the sidelines watching, so if I have a little cool limp to add some swag, then you'll know why." McVay did not say whether or not he would need a walking boot while roaming the sidelines during the healing process.
The Los Angeles Rams will need all hands on deck as they're set to visit the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Both teams are currently sitting at 2-0 on the year.
