Season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars” kicks off tonight on ABC and Disney+ , but unfortunately, one important member of the show won’t be there.

On Tuesday, Sept. 16, “DWTS” judge Carrie Ann Inaba wrote on Instagram : “I wanted to share that I will not be at the show tonight.”

Inaba explained it is because she is “feeling quite under the weather.” However, she assured fans her absence will be short-lived. “I’m resting up and can’t wait to be back next week in good health,” she wrote.

She then sent some good wishes to tonight’s cast, writing: “In the meantime, I wish all the contestants the very best of luck. I’ll be cheering you on from home. Have a great show everyone!”
